ACCESSIBILITY AND DISABILITY 101: BACK TO BASICS

This workshop will provide broad insights to folks who may not have knowledge pertaining to accessibility and disability. We will discuss the various disability models, identity-first and person-first language, and barriers faced by disabled persons.

Please note: this is an introductory workshop and is not suggested for clients who wish to delve deeper in accessibility and disability topics. 


Dare to Dream: Experiential Learning Opportunities for Disabled Students

This workshop is intended for faculty members and resource professionals who are involved with planning and executing experiential learning trips. We will explore various ways to ensure the participation of disabled students on such trips, in which we will provide examples of experiences and from past trips in the Dominican Republic and Italy as guidance.
